Truls, Torolv, Trond and Tord are brothers, as well as experts at climbing and performing amazing tricks. They are particularly lively and happy trolls and they can jump huge distances, steering with their tails. Even though they are brothers they’re quite different. Tord has the habit – or perhaps we should say bad habit – of crawling into all kinds of holes he finds in the trees he climbs. This is simply so that he can hide and jump out at the other climbing trolls. But it isn’t just the climbing trolls he frightens. Many a squirrel and woodpecker has had the fright of their lives when Tord has come tumbling into their home. And once inside, he sometimes gets stuck and is completely unable to come out again.

The Longtail Troll familiy

The Longtail trolls are a particularly pleasant little family of trolls. They are produced also in Norway, in the same house like the NyForm trolls, from Polystone (mixture from resin und marble).
They live in hollow trees, mountain hidey-holes and mossy tussocks, deep in the woods where the mist forms a mysterious blanket over the tree roots and heather. The Longtail trolls are small, with bristly, sticky-up troll hair – and long, beautiful tails. Now you’ll hear it said that trolls can’t stand the sun, and instantly turn to stone. But that’s not the case with the Longtail trolls! Every day they drink a magic herbal potion, so that they can prance around in the sun as much as they wish.
Apart from that, the Longtail trolls are just like most other trolls. They spend their time trolling, finding treasure and in between – they help the folk living on the farms thereabouts. That is – of course – without them knowing anything about it! Trolls prefer not to come face to face with humans, because they have a curious habit of tricking the trolls and taking their treasure, which the trolls – funnily enough – aren’t too happy about.   The Longtail trolls have very different and special personalities – plus rather unusual, magical talents.
