Climbing troll Askil must be the world’s sleepiest troll. He is able to fall asleep in the most unbelievable positions and situations, and the other trolls often find him hanging upside down in a tree, relaxed and deeply asleep. Nonetheless most of the trolls have long conversations with Askil, because he is able to wander in and out of others’ dreams.Other than climbing, there’s one thing which Kristin the climbing troll likes best, and that’s chocolate. Several times she has gone and planted pieces of chocolate in the hopes that a huge chocolate tree will grow, which she could then both eat and climb. Kristin spends most of her time down by Troll Pond, because she also has certain mermaid leanings, and is more than happy to paddle around in the water. Her ability is that she both speaks and understands seahorse-speech.You’ll find Rune the climbing troll dangling sky-high up in the treetops. He does his best to reach all the way up to the clouds through a combination of breakneck hops and hazardous climbing. Mostly this goes well, much thanks to Rune’s good friends the birds. If he falls, they are always there to save him just before he hits the ground and fly him safely back to the treetops again. Rune knows how to thank the birds, because his magical ability is to speak bird-speech.

The Longtail Troll familiy

The Longtail trolls are a particularly pleasant little family of trolls. They are produced also in Norway, in the same house like the NyForm trolls, from Polystone (mixture from resin und marble).
They live in hollow trees, mountain hidey-holes and mossy tussocks, deep in the woods where the mist forms a mysterious blanket over the tree roots and heather. The Longtail trolls are small, with bristly, sticky-up troll hair – and long, beautiful tails. Now you’ll hear it said that trolls can’t stand the sun, and instantly turn to stone. But that’s not the case with the Longtail trolls! Every day they drink a magic herbal potion, so that they can prance around in the sun as much as they wish.
Apart from that, the Longtail trolls are just like most other trolls. They spend their time trolling, finding treasure and in between – they help the folk living on the farms thereabouts. That is – of course – without them knowing anything about it! Trolls prefer not to come face to face with humans, because they have a curious habit of tricking the trolls and taking their treasure, which the trolls – funnily enough – aren’t too happy about.   The Longtail trolls have very different and special personalities – plus rather unusual, magical talents.
